Your hosts, Laura and Dan, married and raised their three children in the San Francisco Bay area while working in high tech careers.
We shared a love for the outdoors and made frequent trips to the Lake Tahoe area on breaks and vacations over the years. After trying several resorts, we settled on Northstar as the one the matched our family profile the best.
After more than a decade of stays in rented homes, in 2018 we realized our goal of buying and owning our own mountain retreat.
